SAIB Held 2013 Enterprise Session on Carrier Liability Insurance of Shanghai Dangerous Cargoes Transportation Industry
In order to deepen the safety management standard of Shanghai dangerous cargoes transportation industry continuously, under the guidance of Shanghai City Traffic Management Office (hereinafter referred to as ”SCTMO” )and Shanghai Dangerous Cargo Transportation Industry Association(hereinafter referred to as ”SDCTIA” ), SAIB organized and held 2013 enterprise session on carrier liability insurance of Shanghai dangerous cargoes transportation industry on 25th Nov, 2013 in the Pine City Hotel. The officers and representatives from SCTMO, SDCTIA, insurance companies and other 21 dangerous cargoes transportation enterprises were present. Mr. Yin Minmin, the Deputy General Manager of SAIB, presided over the session.
The main theme of session focused on insurance service when the representatives of dangerous cargoes transportation enterprises actively made discussions, raised questions and made suggestions on 5 topics in respect of insurance period, premium, client services, payment method and service team. After listening to the suggestions and thoughts of enterprises, representatives of insurance companies made responses and expressed the willingness to tailor the insurance scheme with the suggestions of enterprises to elevate service quality. In the session, the officers of SCTMO and SDCTIA did conclusive speeches which confirmed the style and effects of the session and brought up the detailed requirements to the future job.
As the important extension of 2013 session on dangerous cargo transportation industry safety management in Shanghai sponsored by SAIB on 18th Nov, 2013, the enterprise session bridged dangerous cargo Transportation Company, insurance companies and governmental departments. What’s more, the session also provided a precious chance of optimizing the insurance scheme to fit the actual insurance needs. As a professional risk consultant of Shanghai Municipal Traffic and Port Authority, SAIB will keep carrying out the insurance services in the future, providing professional suggestions on risk management to promote the safe development of road transportation industry.
