SAIB sponsored session on dangerous cargo transportation industry safety management in Shanghai
In order to elevate safety management level of dangerous cargo transportation, under the guidance of Shanghai City Traffic Management Office (hereinafter referred to as ”SCTMO” )and Shanghai Dangerous Cargo Transportation Industry Association(hereinafter referred to as ”SDCTIA” ), SAIB organized and held the session on Shanghai dangerous cargo transportation industry safety management on 18th Nov, 2013.The officers and representatives from SCTMO, SDCTIA, insurance companies and transportation companies were present. Mr. Yin Minmin, the deputy general manager of SAIB, presided over the session.
The main topics on the session comprised accident analysis, prevention of accident, the key points of carrier liability insurance and subsequent claim-handling and arrangements of industry management. In the session, the officers from SCTMO did speeches which not only confirmed that the carrier liability insurance was a great help to safety management, but also brought up clearer requirements to the future job.
The successful convening of the session is a hint to raise the safety awareness and a great chance to make the key points of carrier liability insurance and subsequent claim-handling well known. On the other side, the session assigned the detailed work on industry safety management, which strengthened the safety management. As a professional risk consultant of Shanghai Municipal Traffic and Port Authority, SAIB is committed itself to assisting governmental departments to secure the safety management. In 2013, SAIB successfully held several large-scale safety conferences including training session on Shanghai inter-provincial passengers transport safety, workshop on claim-handling of passengers bodily injury of Shanghai Taxi Industry, workshop on safety production and insurance claim for Shanghai inter provincial passenger transport enterprises and other series of conferences .It’s a belief that the whole transportation industry will be developed into more harmonious, more sustainable, longer future through the conferences.
