SAIB (UK) Was Approved to be Lloyd’s Registered Broker（2017-3-16）

Approved by the Lloyd’s of London, Shanghai Asian Insurance Brokers (UK) Limited was granted the qualification of the Lloyd’s registered broker on March 6th, 2017, and which means that Shanghai Asian Insurance Brokers Co. Ltd. has become the only one insurance brokers company in China whose subsidiary is also approved to be the Lloyd’s registered broker collectively with its parent company.

SAIB was approved to be the Lloyd’s registered broker on November 6th, 2015, and on October 17th, 2016, SAIB (UK) was officially approved UK insurance broker business license by FCA. Only within less than half a year’s time, SAIB (UK) was continuously approved to be the Lloyd’s registered broker, and all of which have become the first breakthrough in the entire Lloyd’s market. This shows that the Lloyd’s obtains great interest as well as confidence in China’s insurance market, and has simultaneously revealed their high recognition of SAIB’s professionalism.

After becoming the Lloyd’s registered broker, SAIB (UK) will not only provide its professional insurance services to the local enterprises and individuals in the UK, but also take advantage of the resources from the Lloyd’s market to complete the development of more specialized coverage as well as the operations and arrangements on the global reinsurance projects.

At present, SAIB, together with SAIB (UK) have jointly become the Lloyd’s registered brokers, and both of the companies will develop mutually to realize their complementary advantages, and meanwhile, both of them will take the good advantage of the advanced risk management skills in the Lloyd’s market to explore the global reinsurance market to provide more domestic and overseas customers with perfect solutions on risk issues and to inject new elements into the Sino-British insurance markets as well as the global insurance markets.
