SAIB (UK) was invited to attend the Ambassador Liu Xiaoming’s 19th CPC National Congress primary coverage briefing（2017-11-15）

On November 7, 2017, Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom Liu Xiaoming held the 19th CPC National Congress primary coverage briefing in London. As a standing member of the council of China Chamber of Commerce in the UK, Ms Pu Huiqiong, chairman of Shanghai Asian Insurance Brokers (UK) Limited, was invited to attend the briefing.

More than 100 Chinese and British business leaders and representatives from all classes attended that briefing. It is intended to help the British representatives of political and businesses to learn the primary coverage of the 19th CPC National Congress, deeply understand the new concepts, new ideas and new strategies for China’s future development and understand the major strategic arrangements put forward by the 19th CPC National Congress.

After the speech, Ambassador Liu also answered questions from the audience about the connotation of Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era, thoughts after attending the 19th Congress, the China-British “Belt and Road” cooperation, the concept of win-win cooperation and development, China-U.S. Relations and President Trump’s visit to China and China’s intellectual property protection.
