SAIB(UK) was invited to the UK Chinese Bankers Association 2017 Christmas dinner（2017-12-15）

On December 11, 2017, the UK Chinese Bankers Association hosted the 2017 Christmas dinner. Shanghai Asian Insurance Brokers (UK) was invited to attend the dinner party, General Manager Keping Zhang attended the event.

The dinner was hosted by the president of the Bank of East Asia, Ruowei Zhou, who is also the Chairman of the association. He praised the Chinese bankers in the Britain for promoting mutual exchanges and common development through the platform of the association. During the dinner, Dr Gerard Lyons, former chief economic adviser to the Mayor of London and independent director of the Bank of China’s UK branch, delivered a speech on the development prospects of the UK after the Brexit. He said he is confident about the future economic development of Britain.

Set up in November 2010, the UK Chinese Bankers Association is the leading trade association that represents leading Chinese and Southeast Asian banks from the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. SAIB (UK) is the first Chinese invested insurance broker company to successfully enter the UK insurance market. In the future, SAIB (UK) will use its own industry advantages to carry out close exchanges with the UK Chinese Bankers Association, in order to provide professional insurance services.
