CCCUK held its first “China-UK Economic and Trade Forum” at London City Hall on Jan 18th, 2018. SAIBUK, as the council member of CCCUK, is the cooperation partner of this event. GM Zhang Keping attended the forum on behalf of the company.

“China-UK Economic and Trade Forum”, with a theme of “China-UK Economic and Trade Cooperation: New Age, Fresh Journey”, aims to promote the communication and cooperation among Chinese and British enterprises to create a shared growth and win-win situation for both of them.

China Ambassador Liu Xiaoming and Lord Mayor Charles Bowman of The City of London delivered their keynote speech respectively. Ambassador Liu said that the year of 2018 is the opening year of executing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, the 40th anniversary of Chinese reform and opening-up policy, and also the 5th anniversary of “One-Belt One-Road” proposal. As Madam Prime Minister Theresa May is preparing a State Visit to China, both countries are expecting to promote China-UK mutually beneficial cooperation in a broader, higher and deeper level and forging an updated edition of China-UK “Golden Age”.

CCCUK was established in 2001 and now has nearly 200 member institutions including UK branches of giant state-owned or private companies such as BOC, CNPC, ICBC, CCB, China Telecom, China Mobile and Huawei. It is the most extensive and representative industrial organisations among Chinese institutions in UK. It is also the important link and a solid bridge to promote China-UK economic and trade cooperation and the development for the relationship of two sides. Acting as the council member of CCCUK, SAIBUK would continue to use its professional specialty to support the communicational platform set by the chamber.
