SAIB at the Project Concluding & Reviewing Meeting of “IDI Long-term Risk Management Model and Its Application in Shanghai”（2018-5-25）
On May 17th 2018, Project Concluding & Reviewing meeting of “IDI Long-term Risk Management Model and Its Application in Shanghai” was held at the Institute of Urban Risk Management, Tongji University (URMI). SAIB Chairman Bao Rongqing attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Zhou Yanli, former vice chairman of CIRC, Director of the Expert Committee of URMI. Director Zhou fully affirmed the significance of the project in social management innovation. Dean Sun Jianping of URMI stressed that modern insurance should abandon the traditional old model and actively play the role of scientific and effective prevention and control in advance. The expert group and members of the research group first discussed IDI’s long-term risk management concepts and measures.
SAIB Deputy GM Wang Chengbao, acting as the head of the research and executive team, reported the content of the concluding report, analyzed the pilot scheme situation, legal basis, risk distribution, and TIS effect of long-term risk of construction quality, and proposed five management ideas and risk control modes respectively from different stages and objects whereas comprehensive suggestions were also proposed to accelerate the development of IDI long-term insurance and its application in Shanghai. Specialists at the meeting proposed to build an integrated information control platform, in order to achieve mutual communication and adjust multi-relations, which would surely contribute to the cooperation of long-term risk management of IDI. They also gave opinions and suggestions to the concluding report.
As the Director member of URMI, Tongji University, SAIB has been paying close attention to the practical operation and development of Shanghai IDI project, and will continue to provide professional support for the project of urban building quality and security in the future based on its own advantages and expertise.
