SAIB Attended the Lloyd’s Registered Broker Annual Roundtable 2018（2018-7-25）
On July 19th 2018, Lloyd’s China hosted the Lloyd’s Registered Broker Annual Roundtable 2018 in Beijing. SAIB was invited and Senior Consultant Harvey Ho attended the meeting on behalf of the company.
During the meeting, Lloyd’s China introduced its latest development in Chinese market. Thereafter, Delegates of Lloyd’s registered brokers respectively introduced their performance changes after being Lloyd’s brokers, cooperation with Lloyd’s China and overseas markets, demands in new markets as well as interests and benefits of business, brands and attentions brought after being Lloyd’s registered brokers. Finally, Lloyd’s China also introduced the future cooperation plan. At present, China is the largest overseas platform of Lloyd’s except the UK. The premium income of Lloyd’s China increased from several million CNY when it was founded in 2007 to CNY 1.1 billion in 2017, with a total asset of CNY 6.9 billion.
As the first Chinese insurance brokers to register in Lloyd’s and establish subsidiary in the UK,SAIB has always been using Lloyd’s superior platform and have achieved good results in the field of reinsurance brokerage with our rich reinsurance experience and advantages in the domestic insurance market. In the future, SAIB would continue to make use of the advantages of Lloyd’s Market to actively expand the domestic reinsurance market and contribute to the development of China’s insurance industry.
