2018 SAIB Midyear Working Conference was successfully held （2018-08-29）

On August 19th 2018, 2018 SAIB midyear working conference was successfully held at Shanghai Marriot Hotel City Centre. The key staffs of head office attended that working conference.

During the conference, Mr. Bao Rongqing, chairman of SAIB, made an important speech. He first affirmed the stable development of SAIB in the first half year, and then made a deep analysis about how to maintain the brand of SAIB, keep the leading advantages of SAIB in the industry, make a good response to the change of the market and enhance the market operation mechanism of SAIB in the future. Finally he planned for the business developing direction of the SAIB in the next half year.

Kathy Pu, chairman of SAIBUK, gave a brief introduction of the development of SAIBUK. Currently, SAIBUK is developing smoothly. The local employees from the UK insurance industry all have optimistic prospects about the development of Chinese reinsurance market and SAIBUK. For the future direction of the development of SAIB, she hoped to further strengthen the ability of commercial operation of SAIB, improve the marketing capability of the staffs and continue to give full play to the professional advantages of SAIB.

The managers from the general management gave their speeches about fine management of reinsurance business, upgrading the service level of SAIB, developing the future business, meeting the challenges from the foreign insurance brokers and enhancing the ability of market development of the staffs. The head of each department and the attended staffs made speeches about the focus of the recent work, working experience and the direction of their future efforts.

The successful convening of this conference helped the staffs to make summary for the current work and definite plan for the future work, and also laid a foundation for the stable development of SAIB in the next half of 2018. As Mr. Bao Rongqing, chairman of SAIB pointed out in his speech that the characteristics of SAIB was daring to change and daring to constantly summarize experience, that’s why SAIB always in the leading position of the market. The change of the market was both challenge and opportunity. It was believed that through that conference, the staffs would be encouraged to make progress together with SAIB.
