SAIB met with Berkley Insurance Asia（2018-9-27）

On September 13th 2018, during the 2018 China Lloyd’s Day, SAIB met with Mr. LEE JU-ANN, head of marine of Singapore branch of Lloyd’s syndicates Berkley Insurance Asia. SAIB Senior Consultant Mr. Harvey Ho attended that meeting on behalf of the company.

During the meeting, both sides separately introduced its recent developments. SAIB introduced its latest developments in flood insurance and city catastrophe insurance. Berkley Insurance Asia first gave positive recognition to recent achievements of SAIB, and then stated that although underwriting capacity of Lloyd’s syndicates were all shrinking in recent years, they still wanted to continue cooperate with SAIB in the field of flood insurance because of the rich industrious experience and good business performance of SAIB. It made them be confident in the business of SAIB in China and they hoped to have further cooperation with SAIB in new type of insurance.

As the first Chinese insurance brokers to register in Lloyd’s and establish subsidiary in the UK, SAIB has maintained good cooperation and exchanges with famous Lloyd’s syndicates in the field of reinsurance and special risks. In the future, SAIB would continue to give full play to its professional advantages and use the Lloyd’s superior platform to have more cooperation with domestic and foreign syndicates.
