SAIB was invited to attend 2018 Lloyd’s Day（2018-09-27）

On September 13th 2018, Lloyd’s China hosted 2018 Lloyd’s Day in Shanghai, SAIB Deputy GM Mr. Wang Chengbao and Senior Consultant Mr. Harvey Ho attended this activity on behalf of the company.

The theme of the 2018 Lloyd’s Day was “Opening-up, Innovation and Professional”, Pei Guang, General Secretary of the Communist Party and Director General of CIRC Shanghai Bureau, Zheng Yang, Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Financial Work Commission and Director of Shanghai Municipal Financial Services Office and Bruce Carnegie-Brown, Chairman of Lloyd’s, attended this activity and delivered their keynote speeches.

The participating leaders pointed out in their speeches that the innovation of Shanghai financial reform brought great development opportunities to insurance institutes. The establishment of Shanghai International Reinsurance Center had achieved remarkable results. The industrial chain of Shanghai insurance market became increasingly complete. The opening-up degree of Shanghai insurance market had continuously enhanced. The insurance industry should continue to play its important role in the reform of financial market.

SAIB has always been using Lloyd’s superior platform and have achieved good results in the field of reinsurance brokerage with its rich reinsurance experience and advantages in the domestic insurance market. In the future, SAIB would continue to use the Lloyd’s superior platform and enhance self-comprehensive strength to actively expand the domestic reinsurance market and contribute to the establishment of Shanghai International Reinsurance Center.
