Ministry of Transport of the People’s Republic of China (MOT) visited “Shaanxi Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform”（2018-10-18）

On September 21st 2018, Wang Shuiping, Counsel of MOT Transport Services Division, visited “Shaanxi Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform” which was invested, established and operated by SAIB, and he was received by SAIB Chairman Mr. Bao Rongqing.

During the meeting, SAIB reported to the leaders about the operation mechanism of the platform and its operation situation during the last 6 months, and explained the monitoring items of the platform, the dynamic monitoring situation of key commercial vehicles, the treatment of monitoring results and the work coordination situation with Shaanxi Province Road Transportation Administration and enterprises. SAIB used the digital method to present the work done by the third party platform for the provincial road transportation administration and each cities.

Then SAIB introduce the self-developed intelligent integration schemas to the leaders, which including intelligent front-end analyzing driving behavior, APP face recognition function, voice broadcast alert function. The leaders gave recognition to the contribution made by the third party platform for the provincial road transportation safety and the positive role played by the third party platform in the provincial road traffic work. They expected that the third party platform could use the existed data and the new technology to improve its service and realize a profit in the future.

“Shaanxi Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform” which was invested, established and operated by SAIB is the first road transportation third party safety monitoring platform in northwestern districts. The platform uses the closed-loop management mechanism about unified monitoring, immediate feedback and effective prevention. It effectively prevents and reduces the Shaanxi Province serious road traffic accidents and provides strong technology support to the economic and social construction, road transportation industry development and road transportation safety monitoring of Shaanxi Province.

In the future, SAIB would continue to innovatively use new technology to consistently ensure the road transportation safety.
