SAIB was invited to attended The 13th China Cruise Shipping Conference International Cruise Expo（2018-11-15）

On November 1st 2018, The 13th China Cruise Shipping Conference International Cruise Expo was hosted by People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, CCTA and China Merchants Group in Shenzhen. SAIB was invited to attend that conference. Mr. Ying Minmin, Deputy GM of SAIB, attended the conference on behalf of the company and delivered a keynote speech at the forum.

The theme of the conference is “New Era, New Features and New Layout”. The programme of that Cruise Shipping Conference included more than ten theme activities and forums such as Policy Forum, President Forum, Industry Leader Salon, Cruise Construction Forum, ASEAN Cruise Cooperation Forum and Chinese-Capital Cruise Development Forum.

The theme of the speech delivered by SAIB at the forum was “Analysis on the Status and Development of Delays and Accident Insurance in China’s Cruise Lines”. The content of the course was divided into two parts. The first part introduced the development situation, achievement and future development goals of Cruise Delay and Cancellation Comprehensive Insurance which was innovatively developed and promoted by SIAB.

The second part analyzed the development prospect of Cruise Travel Accident Insurance in China. The Cruise Travel Accident Insurance which was innovatively developed and promoted by SAIB had insured all 1354 schedules departing from China, covered 4.22 million tourists, and provided online and offline claim service to 370,000 domestic and foreign passengers by the end of September 30th.

Shanghai Cruise Delay and Cancellation Comprehensive Insurance which was promoted by SAIB in 2016 filled in the blank of services of Shanghai International Shipping Center guaranteed the development of Shanghai International Cruise Center. SAIB was awarded “2016 Shanghai Award of Promotion of Modern Shipping Service Innovation Project” and “2018 Shanghai Cruise Service Contribution Award of in Shanghai Cruise Tourism Festival”. In the future, Cruise Travel Insurance of SAIB will continuously assist to the development of China Cruise Economy, and be based in Shanghai, orients to the whole country and serves global service.
