SAIBUK Attended New Year Dinner Hosted by CCCUK and the 48 Group Club（2019-02-03）

On January 31st 2019, Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK), together with the 48 Group Club, hosted the 2019 Chinese New Year Dinner in London. As the council member of CCCUK, SAIBUK was invited and GM Mr. Zhang Keping attended the dinner party on behalf of the company.

About 400 people from all walks of life, including Chinese and British governments, industry, commerce, finance, culture, education, and media attended the 2019 Chinese New Year dinner. At the dinner, Chinese ambassador to Britain Mr. Liu Xiaoming delivered a speech entitled “Promoting the Spirit of Icebreaker to Promote China-UK Relations”, said that in the new historical period, we must inherit the “ice-breaking spirit” and give it a new era connotation: We must break through the “hard ice” of protectionism, build an inclusive and open world economy, break the “hard ice” of old thinking, and promote benign interactions; break through the “hard ice” of confrontation and jointly build a community of human destiny.

The atmosphere at the dinner was warm and enthusiastic, providing an opportunity for interactions between political and business leaders and members of CCCUK in various fields from China and the UK. As the first Chinese Insurance broker operating in the UK and the council member of CCCUK, SAIBUK will continue to work hard to make greater contribution to the healthy and stable development of China-UK relations.
