SAIB attended UK-China Business Dinner in honour of His Excellency Mr. Hu Chunhua, Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of The 10th UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue (2019-06-24)

On June 17, 2019, UK-China Business Dinner in honour of His Excellency Mr. Hu Chunhua, Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of The Tenth UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue hosted by MOFCOM and DIT, sponsored by CBBC, CCCUK and the 48 Group Club was held at the Gibson Auditorium in London. As the director of CCCUK, Ms. Pu Huiqiong, the chairman of SAIBUK was invited to attend the dinner.

At the dinner, Vice-Premier of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Hu Chunhua, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rt Hon Philip Hammond, Chairman of China-Britain Business Council Lord Sassoon Kt and Chairman of China Chamber of Commerce in the UK Mr. Fang Wenjian deliver speeches and had an in-depth exchange with representatives of Chinese enterprises. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the Chinese and British sides renewed their friendship and discussed ways for further cooperation.

The 10th UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue was co-chaired by Vice-Premier of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Hu Chunhua and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rt Hon Philip Hammond. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on issues such as macroeconomic situation and global economic governance, trade and investment and large-scale project cooperation, financial reform and financial market development, strategic and new-field cooperation, and achieved 69 mutually beneficial results. This dialogue is an effective measure for China and the UK to further promote the development of bilateral relations and an important dialogue for further strengthening China-UK global comprehensive strategic partnership.

In this context, SAIB will continue to use its professional strength and improve its service level, and continue to provide insurance brokerage services and risk management services for enterprises of both countries on the basis of making full use of the strategic opportunities of “One Belt, One Road” construction. We will continue to develop China-UK relations and support the building of a “golden age” that is lasting, open and win-win.
