The Traffic Police Corps of Shanghai Public Security Bureau held Study and Promotion Meeting at the “Shanghai Third-party Safety Monitoring Platform for Road Transportation” (2019-07-09)
On June 21, 2019, in order to further improve the work of applying the GPS dynamic monitoring system of third-party platform and the ability to investigate and prevent the illegal activities of key transportation vehicles in various districts, under the leadership of Vice-chief of the Traffic Police Corps of Shanghai Public Security Bureau Mr. Pan Luoyi, the Traffic Police Corps of Shanghai Public Security Bureau and the detachment of each district held Study and Promotion Meeting at the “Shanghai Third-party Safety Monitoring Platform for Road Transportation”.
At the meeting, SAIB reported on the work and achievement since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Traffic Police Corps of Shanghai Public Security Bureau and the third-party platform, and introduced the upgrading scheme. At the same time, it also analyzed the difficulties in the work and proposed improvement measures. Subsequently, the accident department of the Shanghai Traffic Police Corps reported the current work on the application of third-party GPS dynamic monitoring data. Relevant leaders delivered speeches on the current achievements and future cooperation development directions. Mr. Pan Luoyi, Vice-chief of the Shanghai Traffic Police Corps, affirmed the role and achievements of the third-party platform, expressed support for third-party platforms and further deepened the expectations of bilateral cooperation.
Since the official launch of “Shanghai Third-party Safety Monitoring Platform for Road Transportation” in early 2014, it has not only made important contributions to the safety management of Shanghai’s transportation industry, but also has become an industry wind vane in the field of road transportation safety supervision. In the future, SAIB will continue to adhere to technological innovation, give full play to its own industry advantages, and fully cooperate with the management department to provide assistance to Shanghai and other places to continuously reduce the risk of road traffic accidents.
