SAIB attended the 2nd Editorial Committee Meeting of Urban Risk Management Series (2019-09-02)

On August 27, 2019, the 2nd Editorial Committee Meeting of Urban Risk Management Series, which is one of the project of “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan of National Important Books Project” and “College Serve State Strategic Publishing Project of Shanghai Area”, was held at Tongji University. As one of the compilers, SAIB attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director of the editorial board, Consultant Professor of Tongji University, Director of the Advisory Committee of URMI, Former deputy mayor of Shanghai Mr. Shen Jun. Experts such as Director of the editorial board, Chairman of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, Former Deputy Secretary and Deputy Chief of SAWS Mr. Wang Dexue, Vice President of Tongji University Mr. Jiang Bo, Director of the Expert Committee of URMI, former Deputy of MOT Mr. Xu Zuyuan attended the meeting. The meeting listened to reports on editing and publishing circumstances of the series, the work arrangement, publication situation and application status of National Publishing Fund. In addition, experts and scholars also put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions for the series.

SAIB undertakes the task of compiling Management of Non-traditional Risk in Urban Areas of the series, which will systematically discuss how to conduct risk prevention and control of urban non-traditional risk through using the power of government, market and public. This fascicle will also explore the application of insurance in management of urban non-traditional risk from a horizontal and vertical perspective. During the compiling, SAIB will give full play to the advantage as a professional insurance brokerage company, and actively use the company’s experience in the field of risk prevention. On the basis of guaranteeing that the fascicles conform to the overall style of the series, SAIB will realize the positioning value of this fascicle with high standards. Meanwhile, SAIB will continue to explore and research in the field of urban risk management, and continue to provide advice and suggestions for the development of this important discipline.
