SAIB Attended the Conference of Carriers’ Liability Insurance and the Third-party Safety Monitoring Platform for Road Transport in Heilongjiang Province （2020-11-06）

On October 30, the second conference was held in Harbin, Heilongjiang by the Heilongjiang Road Transport Third-party Monitoring Platform, which is invested by SAIB. The conference focused on the new mechanism of road transport carriers’ liability insurance establishment and risk prevention & control system establishment ( the new mechanism ). Li Xiaohao, Director in Safety Office of Heilongjiang Road Transport Development Center, Zhao Bei, Deputy Secretary General of Heilongjiang Insurance Industry Association, Huang Yuesheng, Vice President and General Secretary of Heilongjiang Road Transport Association, Ji yisheng, Chief Strategy Officer of SAIB, along with other insurance companies and business representatives in this field presented at the meeting.

In the meeting, the difficulties of risk management in Heilongjiang Province were reported and new tasks were put forward and discussed, mainly around the topic of “two types of carriages of passengers and transport of dangerous cargo”. Heilongjiang Road Transport Association said that the experimental work of the new mechanism has reached some early results. The insurance companies and enterprises shall strengthen cooperation and gradually upgrade the level of risk prevention and control. Heilongjiang Insurance Industry Association affirmed the new mechanism establishment and said that they would actively cooperate further on. SAIB responded to the questions raised by the industry management department, insurance companies and key transport enterprises from the Province, and also elaborated on the matters of key concern to the enterprises. Heilongjiang Road Transport Business Development Center came up with a few requirements on the frequency of inspection of latent hazard and the third-party platform technical upgrade.

SAIB believes that with the great attention of the management department in this industry and cooperation of relevant units, the two major industries of transportation and insurance will surely achieve mutual benefit. The new mechanism of road transport carriers’ liability insurance establishment and risk prevention & control system establishment is a comprehensive engineering system, currently under constant perfection. Therefore, we shall be working together to create a harmonious and stable social environment for the development of the economy and society.
