On April 28, the launch ceremony and draw event for the 2026 Shanghai Medical Workers Football Super League (“Med Super League”), fully supported and insured by Asian Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. The 2026 Shanghai Medical Workers Football Super League is guided by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and the Shanghai Administration of Sports, and jointly organised by the Shanghai Medical Workers’ Union, the Shanghai Patriotic Health Campaign Committee Office, the Shanghai Social Sports Management Centre, the Shanghai Football Association, and the Shanghai Health Promotion Centre. The league aims to further implement the national strategies of “Healthy China” and “National Fitness,” while promoting the integration of sports and healthcare.

As a highly participated and widely recognised event among medical professionals in Shanghai, the league has attracted 36 teams and 900 medical workers. It not only provides a platform for healthcare professionals to build connections and improve physical fitness through football, but also helps spread health awareness to a broader audience through the spirit of the game.
