Inspection Team of Ministry of Transportation of P.R. China (MOT) visited and made an assessment work at “Sichuan Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform”（2018-1-30）
On Jan 25th 2018, Deputy Director General Wang Xiuchun of MOT Transport Services Division, together with Officer Lyu Bing of State Administration of Work Safety No.2 Supervision Division, Associate Investigator Zhu Chao of MOR Transport Services Division, visited and assessed the performance of “Sichuan Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform”. They were warmly received by Operation Director Associate Li Qing of SAIB.
During the meeting, SAIB introduced to the Inspection Team about the development situation and CSR of the company. A clear interpretation and attention from SAIB on Road Transportation Safety Management in Sichuan Province was also shared to them. SAIB also gave a report on the operation status of the platform since its launch day in Dec 2017.
Through the communication thereafter, SAIB, from a professional perspective, gave an account to the Inspection Team of varieties of aspects including “segmentation speed limit”, “speed limit threshold setting”, “fatigue driving determination” and credit management of commercial vehicle drivers. Deputy Director Zhao Mingce of Safety Inspection Division, Road Transportation Administration Bureau, Department of Transportation of Sichuan Province, also made a supplementary statement and shared the development plan of the third party platform.
Since Dec 29, 2017, the launch day of which, authorized by Road Transportation Administration Bureau of Sichuan Province and established and operated by SAIB, “Sichuan Province Road Transportation Third Party Safety Monitoring Platform” has delivered quite a positive function of professional Supervision and effective safeguard. In future, as a more tacit agreement and cooperation goes between the third-party platform and governmental administration, it is highly believed that the platform could provide continuous assistance to the transportation safety management in West China.
