Strengthening Water Tourism Safety: Asia Insurance Brokers Conducts Special Passenger Safety Training for Shanghai Pujiang Tourism Group Co., Ltd.（2026-09-18）

To further solidify the foundation of safe operations for water-based cultural tourism on the Huangpu River and enhance frontline staff’s capabilities in risk prevention, emergency response, and safety services, Asian Insurance Brokers invited Mr. Liu Longhui, an expert from the Safety Division of the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration, to deliver a specialised passenger safety training session for Shanghai Pujiang Tourism Group Co., Ltd. The training took place aboard the “Pu Yan Jiang Lan” cruise ship at the Shiliupu Cruise Terminal.

 

As a signature cultural tourism landmark of Shanghai, Huangpu River cruises feature large passenger volumes and diverse, complex operational scenarios, placing exceptionally high demands on safe operations and risk control. During the training, the expert drew upon years of experience in maritime safety supervision. Focusing on core topics including terminal passenger flow management, vessel navigation safety, handling of waterborne emergencies, response to tourist accidents, extreme weather prevention, and dispute risk mitigation, the session utilised real case analyses, standard operating procedure walkthroughs, and practical operational guidance. This approach helped all participants enhance their emergency response capabilities and reinforced the frontline team’s understanding of a full-chain safety management mindset encompassing “prevention beforehand, control during operations, and response afterwards,” thereby further strengthening the foundation of safe operations for Huangpu River cruises.
