On April 1, 2019, as the director of CCCUK, Ms. Pu Huiqiong, the chairman of SAIBUK was invited to attend \u201cChinese Investment in the UK\u201d Symposium jointly organized by CCCUK and UK DIT.<\/p>\n
Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in the UK Ms. Bao Ling, President of CCCUK Mr. Fang Wenjian, Investment Director of UK DIT Mr. Mark Slaughter and other distinguished guests attended the symposium and delivered speeches. Representatives of 15 Chinese-funded enterprises was invited and attended the symposium such as Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, PetroChina, Huawei, China Telecom, Taiping Insurance and SAIBUK. During the symposium, the guests prospected the future development of Chinese-funded enterprises in the UK and discussed some hot issues including \u201cOne Belt, One Road\u201d Policy, Brexit, National Security and Investment of the UK, SME financing and visas, etc.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of the Brexit, the meeting consolidated and strengthened the confidence of Chinese-funded enterprises in the UK and released a clear signal that China and Britain is actively promoting bilateral economic and trade development. As the first Chinese insurance broker obtaining Insurance Broker Business License of the UK, the first registered insurance broker of Lloyd\u2019s in China and council member of CCCUK, SAIBUK is a pioneer of the development of Sino-British insurance market and a witness to win-win cooperation between China and the UK.
